The Jain Bunt are the Jains of Bunt caste from Tulunaad area of India.[1] It has been said that the Jain Bunts also have the highest per capita income in India.[2][better source needed][citation needed] They have a feudal and martial race heritages, because of ties to the erstwhile royalty of the area.[3] They are classified as Other Backward Class (OBC) by the Government of Karnataka.[4][5]
