James Charles Dodd Sr., FAIA (1923–1999), was an American modernist architect and businessperson.[1][2] He was the first licensed African American architect in the city of Sacramento, California.[3][4] His architectural firm was James C. Dodd and Associates.[4] Dodd was a founding member of the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA).
