James Gabriel Huquier, originally Jacques-Gabriel (1725–1805) was a portrait-painter and engraver.[1] He was the son of the roccoco engraver Gabriel Huquier and his wife Marie-Ann (Desvignes).[2] One of Huquier's subjects was Chevalier d'Eon,[1] an early transvestite.[3]
