Alexander James Naughtie FRSE (surname pronounced /ˈnɔːxti/; born 9 August 1951) is a British radio and news presenter for the BBC.

From 1994 to 2015, he was one of the main presenters of Radio 4's Today programme.[2] In his 21 years on Today, Naughtie had anchored every BBC Radio UK election results programme from 1997 onwards. He also worked on every US presidential election from 1988 to 2012.[2]
