James R. Venable (January 15, 1901 – January 18, 1993) was a white supremacist Georgia lawyer and Mayor of Stone Mountain, Georgia from 1946 to 1949. He established the Klan national faction National Knights of the Ku Klux Klan in 1963, which he led for 25 years.
