Jatinga (Pron: ʤʌˈtɪŋgə or ʤæˈtɪŋgə ), a village on a ridge, is located in Dima Hasao district, Assam, India. It is 330 kilometres (210 mi) south of Guwahati[1] The village is inhabited by about 2,500 Khasi-Pnar people and a few Assamese. It is well-known for being the location of mysterious bird deaths.
