Jean Eric Salata (Chinese: 莊佳誠; born 22 December 1965) is a Chilean businessman based in Hong Kong. He is the founder of BPEA EQT, one of the largest private equity firms in Asia. In February 2023, Forbes put his net worth at US$5.9 billion making him the second richest person in Chile and the 15th richest person in Hong Kong.[3][4][5][6]
