Jels (German: Jels) is a town, with a population of 1,978 (1 January 2024),[1] situated 17 km northwest of Vojens, 26 km southwest of Kolding, 30 km east of Ribe and 17 km south of Vejen. The town is a part of Vejen Municipality, Region of Southern Denmark in Denmark.
Jels Church is located in the town. It was consecrated in 1854, replacing a smaller somewhat dilapidated chapel of hewn granite.[2]
