Jhelum Valley (Urdu: وادی جہلم ) is a valley in the Jhelum Valley District of Azad Kashmir, Pakistan, along the Jhelum River. It stretches for approximately a 50 kilometers (31 mi) and is known for its proximity to the disputed Line of Control (LOC) between Pakistan and India.[1] The administrative center of the valley is Hattian Bala, a major town that also serves as the district headquarters.[2]
