Jil Jung Juk (transl. The Good, The Average, The Unworthy) is a 2016 Indian Tamil-language neo-Western post-apocalyptic black comedy film directed by Deeraj Vaidy, in his directorial debut. It is produced by Siddharth under Etaki Entertainment, who also enacts with Avinash Raghudevan and Sananth Reddy in the titular role. The film follows Jil, Jung and Juk who are assigned by a dreadful drug lord to transport drugs, where they faces struggles during their journey.

Deeraj Vaidy initially produced a pilot film with two of the lead actors in 2014. Impressed by the draft, Siddharth asked Vaidy to pen down the script on the lines of a similar theme; the draft was completed in January 2015. It is touted to be the first Tamil film to be set in a dystopian world, where events were happening in the future and principal shooting for the film was completed within 38 days, where the film was shot in Tiruvallur, Chennai and Kanchipuram. The film was officially announced in September 2015, and a four-month long post-production process began the same month. Vishal Chandrasekhar composed the soundtrack and musical score, while Shreyaas Krishna handled the cinematography. Editing was done by Kurtz Schneider.

Jil Jung Juk was theatrically released worldwide on 12 February 2016, where it generally received mixed-to-positive reviews. Critics praised its offbeat elements, concept, cast performances, technical aspects, and the use of color palettes, but criticized for its pace and screenwriting. Despite the average performance at the box office, Jil Jung Juk was considered as one of the '25 Greatest Tamil Films of the Decade' by Film Companion.^[1]
