James Richard Baird[3] (born June 4, 1945)[4] is an American businessman and politician serving as the U.S. representative for Indiana's 4th congressional district since 2019. A member of the Republican Party, Baird served from 2010 to 2018 as a member of the Indiana House of Representatives[5] and as a Putnam County commissioner from 2006 to 2010.
