Professor Sir James Rufus McDonald GBE FRSE FREng FInstP FIET is a British engineer and educator, serving as principal and vice-chancellor of the University of Strathclyde since 2009. He served as the president of the Royal Academy of Engineering between 2019-2024,[2] and is also a visiting professor at NYU Tandon School of Engineering.[3]
