James Michael Smith (born July 26, 1988)[1] is an American former professional football player who was a cornerback in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Baltimore Ravens with the 27th pick in the 2011 NFL draft. He played college football for the Colorado Buffaloes.

Smith spent his entire 11 season career with the Ravens, winning Super Bowl XLVII during his second season with the team. A backup during his first two seasons, he became a starter for the team in 2013. He played with the Ravens until 2021.
