Jinhu County (simplified Chinese: 金湖县; traditional Chinese: 金湖縣; pinyin: Jīnhú Xiàn; lit. 'golden lake') is under the administration of Huai'an, Jiangsu province, China[2] with 289,456 inhabitants (2020 census).[3] It occupies the northwestern shores of and extends into Gaoyou Lake, bordering the prefecture-level cities of Yangzhou to the south and east, and Chuzhou (Anhui) to the southwest.
