JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable Chapter I (Japanese: ジョジョの奇妙な冒険 ダイヤモンドは砕けない 第一章, Hepburn: JoJo no Kimyō na Bōken Daiyamondo wa Kudakenai Dai-Isshō) is a 2017 Japanese action fantasy film directed by Takashi Miike from a screenplay by Itaru Era. It is based on the Diamond Is Unbreakable story arc of the manga series JoJo's Bizarre Adventure by Hirohiko Araki. Covering the first seventeen chapters, the film stars Kento Yamazaki, Ryunosuke Kamiki, Nana Komatsu, Masaki Okada, Mackenyu Arata, Takayuki Yamada and Yusuke Iseya. It was released in Japan by Toho and Warner Bros. Pictures on August 4, 2017.[2][3] It was licensed for North American release by Viz Media.[4]
