Jody Lafond (born 1956) is an American video artist and documentary filmmaker, and a co-founder of the Squeaky Wheel Film & Media Art Center in Buffalo, NY. Lafond began producing work in the 1980s,[1] and from 1990 to 1991 was the producer of Artwaves, a weekly public-access cable television program in Buffalo.[2] Her works have been shown in Canada and the United States.[3] Two career retrospectives of her video work have been held at Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center, one in 1994[4] and one in 2001.[5]
