Joseph Patrick Murphy (Irish: Seosamh Ó Murchú; 10 May 1895 – 25 October 1920) was an Irish militant and Republican activist who was one of 22 Irish Republicans who died on hunger strike in the 20th century. He was an Officer in the Irish Republican Army who died as a result of his participation in the 1920 Cork hunger strike at Cork Gaol.[1]
