John Albert Raven FRS[2][3] FRSE (25 June 1941 – 23 May 2024) was a British botanist who was emeritus professor at University of Dundee and the University of Technology Sydney.[4] His primary research interests were in the ecophysiology and biochemistry of marine and terrestrial primary producers such as plants and algae.[5]
