John Hart (c. 1713 – May 11, 1779[1]) was an American Founding Father and politician in colonial New Jersey. As a delegate to the Continental Congress, Hart signed the Declaration of Independence.[2] He died several years before the end of the Revolutionary War while still active in patriotic efforts.
