John Haywood (born Edgecombe County, North Carolina, February 23, 1755; died Raleigh, Wake County, North Carolina, November 18, 1827[1]) was an American politician, who was the longest-serving North Carolina State Treasurer from 1787 until his death in 1827.[2][3]
