John Stephenson, OBE (born 28 May 1952) is a British director and a former vice-president and creative supervisor for Jim Henson's Creature Shop.[1] He was nominated for a BAFTA film award in 1985 for Dreamchild and in 1991, he won an Academy Award by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
