John Thomas Chain Jr. (December 11, 1934 – July 7, 2021)[2] was a U.S. Air Force general. He was also a director of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, ConAgra Foods, Inc., and Kemper Insurance Co., as well as holding other corporate offices.
