John William Thomas (born 5 August 1958) is a former English professional footballer. He scored 123 goals in 364 appearances while playing for the Football League with the Tranmere Rovers, Halifax Town, Bolton Wanderers, Chester, Lincoln City, Preston North End, Bolton Wanderers and Hartlepool United.[3]
