John William Greene (3 September 1876, in Cardiff, Wales – 7 October 1959, in Brisbane, Australia) was the Lord Mayor of Brisbane from 1931 to 1934.

He was the last Mayor of Wynnum before the 1925 amalgamation, and was the only one who was popularly elected. His brother Sam, was the first Mayor of Wynnum in 1913.[1]
