John Yates (17 April 1925 – 26 February 2008) was an Anglican bishop in the Church of England. He was a bishop for 22 years, serving as the Bishop of Whitby from 1972 to 1975, the Bishop of Gloucester[1] from 1975 to 1992 and the Bishop at Lambeth from 1992 to 1994.
