Johnny K. Davis (born 1967/1968)[1] is a United States Army major general who serves as the commanding general of the United States Army Recruiting Command.[2] He previously served as the commanding general of the United States Army Cadet Command.[3][4]
A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Davis was commissioned into the Army in 1989 through the Reserve Officers' Training Corps.[1] In October 2022, he took command of the United States Army Recruiting Command.[5] By October 2023, the Army had plans to elevate the command to a three-star command.[6] In September 2024, Davis was nominated for promotion to lieutenant general.[7][8]
