John Christopher Lujack Jr.[1] (/ˈluːdʒæk/;[2] January 4, 1925 – July 25, 2023) was an American professional football quarterback and safety who played for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, where he won the Heisman Trophy in 1947.
