John William Madden (11 June 1865 – 17 April 1948) was a Scottish footballer who played for Dumbarton,[1] Gainsborough Trinity, Grimsby Town, Celtic, Dundee,[2] Tottenham Hotspur[3] and the Scotland national team.[4]
