Justin Ray Gaethje[7] (/ˈɡeɪdʒi/; born November 14, 1988) is an American professional mixed martial artist. He currently competes in the Lightweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). A professional competitor since 2011, he is a former UFC Interim Lightweight Champion, and former UFC BMF Champion. Gaethje is the second fighter to win the BMF championship after Jorge Masvidal winning the title at UFC 291.[8][9] As of April 16, 2024, he is #3 in the UFC lightweight rankings.[10]
