The station is owned by Meruelo Radio Holdings Ltd.[2] and broadcasts a classic hip hop format. The KDEY-FM transmitter is located on Heaven Mountain to the north of Ontario. KDEY-FM simulcasts with co-channel station KDAY in Redondo Beach, California to fill coverage gaps in KDAY's eastern coverage area.[3]
