It is owned by Gray Television alongside low-power dual CBS/CW+ affiliate KYLX-LD (channel 13) and Telemundo affiliate KXNU-LD (channel 10). The three stations share studios on Loop 20 (near SH 359) in Laredo; KGNS-TV's transmitter is located northwest of the city.
