KIXA is owned by El Dorado Broadcasters and airs a classic rock format branded as 106.5 The Fox. It carries two syndicated shows: Steve Gorman Rocks! on weeknights and The House of Hair with Dee Snider on weekends.
KIXA is a Class A FM station with an effective radiated power (ERP) of 560 watts. The transmitter is on Grapevine Canyon Road in Lucerne Valley.[2] The studios are on Hesperia Road in Hesperia.
