KYRO (1280 kHz) is an American AM radio station in Troy, Missouri and serves the western suburbs of St. Louis. KYRO airs a Conservative talk radio format and is owned by Lee Thompson and John Scheper, through licensee Lincoln County Broadcasting LLC, and operated by Viper Broadcasting, LLC.[citation needed]
KYRO is or was an affiliate of the Kansas City Chiefs (NFL),[2] St. Louis Blues (NHL), University of Missouri Tigers (NCAA),[3] MRN (NASCAR), PRN (NASCAR) Sports Networks,[4] and originates Maryville University Hockey broadcasts (NCAA).
