Kalbar (formerly Fassifern Scrub and Engelsburg / Engelsberg) is a rural town and locality in the Scenic Rim Region, Queensland, Australia.[2][3] In the 2021 census, the locality of Kalbar had a population of 1,246 people.[1]
In 1916 during World War I, Engelsburg was renamed Kalbar due to anti-German sentiment.[4]
