Kelly Gene Hancock (born December 2, 1963) is an American businessman and Republican State Senator for District 9,[1] which encompasses portions of Tarrant and Dallas counties, including all or part of the following communities in Tarrant County: Arlington, Bedford, Blue Mound, Colleyville, Euless, Fort Worth, Grand Prairie, Grapevine, Haltom City, Hurst, Keller, North Richland Hills, Richland Hills, Saginaw, Southlake, Trophy Club, Watauga and Westlake. In Dallas County, Senate District 9 includes portions of Dallas, Grand Prairie, and Irving.[2] Hancock was elected to the Texas Senate in November 2012, having previously served three terms in the Texas House of Representatives.[3]
