The King's County Royal Rifle Militia was an Irish Militia regiment in King's County (now County Offaly)[1] dating back to 1776. It later became a battalion of the Prince of Wales's Leinster Regiment (Royal Canadians). It saw action during the Irish Rebellion of 1798 and the Second Boer War, and trained thousands of reinforcements during World War I. It was disbanded in 1922.
