Kirkbymoorside (/ˌkɜːrbiˈmʊərsaɪd/) is a market town and civil parish in North Yorkshire, England. It is 25 miles (40.2 km) north of York; midway between Pickering and Helmsley, and on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. The parish had a population of 3,040 in the 2011 census.[1]
