Korenovsky District (Russian: Корено́вский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the thirty-eight in Krasnodar Krai, Russia.[1] As a municipal division, it is incorporated as Korenovsky Municipal District.[4] It is located in the center of the krai. The area of the district is 1,433 square kilometers (553 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the town of Korenovsk.[1] Population: 85,264 (2010 Census);[3] 85,259 (2002 Census);[6] 77,131 (1989 Soviet census).[7] The population of Korenovsk accounts for 48.3% of the district's total population.[3]
