Krasnosulinsky District (Russian: Красносули́нский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[5] district (raion), one of the forty-three in Rostov Oblast, Russia. It is located in the west of the oblast. The area of the district is 2,104 square kilometers (812 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the town of Krasny Sulin.[1] Population: 81,825 (2010 Census);[3] 34,906 (2002 Census);[7] 36,814 (1989 Soviet census).[8] The population of Krasny Sulin accounts for 49.9% of the district's total population.[3]
