Kudumbavilakku (transl. Lamp of the Family) is an Indian Malayalam-language soap opera drama television series.[1] The show premiered on Asianet and also streams on Disney+ Hotstar. Meera Vasudevan portrays the lead role in the series, returning to television after thirteen years.[2][3][4] The first season of the show aired from 27 January 2020 to 1 December 2023. The second season aired from 4 December 2023 to 3 August 2024.[5][6]
The series is produced by Chitra Shenoy under Good Company Productions. It is an official remake of Bengali TV series Sreemoyee[7][8] It is one of the longest-ran soap opera[broken anchor] in Malayalam.[9]
