Labinsky District (Russian: Лаби́нский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the thirty-eight in Krasnodar Krai, Russia.[1] As a municipal division, it is incorporated as Labinsky Municipal District.[3] It is located in the southeast of the krai. The area of the district is 1,843 square kilometers (712 sq mi).[citation needed] Its administrative center is the town of Labinsk (which is not administratively a part of the district).[1] Population: 37,443 (2010 Census);[2] 39,235 (2002 Census);[5] 37,580 (1989 Soviet census).[6]
