The Land Glacier (75°40′S 141°45′W / 75.667°S 141.750°W) is a broad, heavily crevassed glacier, about 35 nautical miles (65 km; 40 mi) long, descending into Land Bay in Marie Byrd Land, Antarctica. It was discovered by the United States Antarctic Service (1939–41) and named for Rear Admiral Emory S. Land, Chairman of the United States Maritime Commission.[1]
