Leicester (/ˈlɛstər/ LEST-ər) is a town in Livingston County, New York, United States. The population was 2,200 at the 2010 census.[3] The town is named after Leicester Phelps, an early inhabitant.[4]
Leicester is on the western border of Livingston County. The village of Leicester is at the center of the town. Leicester is west of Geneseo.
