Lennar Corporation (Lennar) is a home construction company based in Miami-Dade County, Florida.[1] As of 2023, it is the second-largest home construction company in the United States based on the number of homes sold.[2][3] Lennar has investments in multifamily and single family residential rental properties, luxury development, property technology with LenX, and mortgage lending from Lennar Mortgage.

With total annual revenue of over $34 billion in 2023, Lennar operates in 26 states and 75 markets across the nation.[4] In 2023, the company was ranked 119th on the Fortune 500.[5] Lennar stock (LEN) was added to the New York Stock Exchange in 1982 and as of 2024 has a market cap of around $47 billion.[6]

The name Lennar is a portmanteau of the first names of two of the company's founders, Leonard Miller and Arnold Rosen.[7]
