James Lew Meehan[1] (September 7, 1890 – August 10, 1951) was an American film actor.[2]
Meehan appeared in more than 200 films between 1921 and 1947.[citation needed] He was often the main villain in silent Westerns, but in sound films he was usually an "anonymous henchman".[1] Meehan was born in Minnesota and died in Los Angeles, California.
Meehan's daughter, Jean Stratton, was an actress.[3]
