Lianozovo District (Russian: райо́н Лиано́зово) is an administrative district (raion), one of the seventeen in North-Eastern Administrative Okrug of the federal city of Moscow, Russia.[1] It is located 15 km north of Moscow city center, on the south side of the Moscow Ring Road ('MKAD'). It borders with Moscow Oblast in the north, Bibirevo District in the east, Altufyevsky District in the south, and with Dmitrovsky District in the west. The area is 6.6 square kilometres (2.5 sq mi).[2] As of the 2010 Census, the total population of the district was 79,582.[3]
