Lincoln County is a county in the U.S. state of West Virginia. As of the 2020 census, the population was 20,463.[1] Its county seat is Hamlin.[2] The county was created in 1867 and named for Abraham Lincoln.[3] Lincoln County is part of the Huntington-Ashland, WV-KY-OH Metropolitan Statistical Area.
