Lipetsky District (Russian: Ли́пецкий райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[3] district (raion), one of the eighteen in Lipetsk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the center of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,510 square kilometers (580 sq mi).[citation needed] Its administrative center is the city of Lipetsk (which is not administratively a part of the district).[1] Population: 59,655 (2021 Census);[5] 49,258 (2010 Census);[2] 48,383 (2002 Census);[6] 48,223 (1989 Soviet census).[7]
