Italian supercentenarians are citizens, residents or emigrants from Italy who have attained or surpassed 110 years of age. As of January 2015, the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) had validated the longevity claims of 151 Italian supercentenarians, the majority of whom were women.[1] The oldest Italian ever is Emma Morano, who was also the last living person born before the year 1900.[2] As of 8 November 2024, the oldest living person in Italy is Claudia Baccarini born on 13 October 1910 in Emilia-Romagna, aged 114 years, 26 days.[3]
