Kamen Rider Gaim (仮面ライダー鎧武（ガイム）, Kamen Raidā Gaimu)^[a] is a Japanese tokusatsu series that serves as the 24th installment in the Kamen Rider franchise and the 15th entry in the Heisei era. Kota Kazuraba must use his newfound powers as the titular hero to battle the mysterious Inves monsters as well as other rival Kamen Riders, all known as "Armored Riders" (アーマードライダー, Āmādo Raidā), in what is described by the show as a "Rider Sengoku Period" (ライダー戦国時代, Raidā Sengoku Jidai).^{[citation needed]} Characters are aligned with each other as members of dance crews, or Beat Riders, and various organizations.
